Synch Fishing Artisan Wake & Crank

Handcrafted Inspiration. Lifelike Swimming Action. Big Bass Appeal.

The Synch Fishing Artisan Wake & Crank brings the artistry of custom-built fishing lures together with the precision and durability of modern hard bait construction. Designed to imitate the natural movement and appearance of a swimming baitfish, this premium three-piece wake bait combines an incredibly realistic profile, fluid swimming action, and exceptional attention to detail to create a presentation that big bass will have a hard time ignoring.

Developed in collaboration with renowned lure artist and wood carver Andrew Gardner, the Artisan Wake & Crank begins with an individually hand-carved wooden original. Every curve, contour, and lifelike detail is carefully sculpted before the design is digitally captured and reproduced in durable ABS material. The result is a production lure that captures the craftsmanship and character of a custom-built bait while providing the consistency needed for everyday fishing.

Built upon the popular Artisan Gill design, the Wake & Crank features a three-piece jointed body that produces a smooth, natural swimming motion. As the lure moves through the water, the articulated sections work together to create a fluid, side-to-side action that closely resembles a live baitfish swimming just beneath the surface.

What separates the Artisan Wake & Crank from traditional jointed swimbaits is its specially designed diving bill. This addition allows the bait to track just below the surface while producing a subtle waking disturbance that can attract bass feeding in shallow water. Its combination of subsurface movement and lifelike swimming action makes it an excellent choice for targeting fish that are watching for vulnerable baitfish near the surface.

The attention to detail extends far beyond the lure's body design. Each Artisan Wake & Crank features realistic soft plastic fins and tail components that enhance the overall appearance and contribute to its natural underwater presentation. These flexible details give the bait a more convincing silhouette while complementing the movement of its jointed body.

Adding another level of realism are the lure's UV glow glass eyes, which create a distinctive focal point and help complete its lifelike appearance. Combined with carefully matched scale patterns, realistic shading, and detailed finishes, the Artisan Wake & Crank offers an impressive resemblance to natural forage.

Each color pattern originates from Andrew Gardner's custom-painted designs and is carefully reproduced to maintain the appearance of the original handcrafted lure. From natural bluegill and sunfish patterns to shad-inspired finishes, the available colors allow anglers to match the forage bass are targeting.

When a big bass commits, the Artisan Wake & Crank is equipped with premium BKK treble hooks and heavy-duty swiveling hook hangers. The swiveling hangers are designed to reduce the leverage fish can place on the hooks during a fight, helping maintain a secure connection when bass jump, shake their heads, or change direction.

Whether you're waking the lure over submerged grass, retrieving it along dock edges, or swimming it across shallow flats, the Synch Fishing Artisan Wake & Crank delivers an impressive combination of realistic appearance, smooth action, and premium fish-fighting components.

For anglers who appreciate the detail of custom fishing lures but want the performance and consistency of a production bait, the Artisan Wake & Crank offers the best of both worlds.
