Evergreen Wake Magic

The Evergreen Wake Magic is a floating topwater wake bait designed to combine rolling action, surface disturbance, sound, flash, and vibration into one highly effective bass presentation. Developed with Lake Biwa guide Shinji Sato, the Wake Magic is built to attract bass from a distance while providing the subtle details needed to trigger the strike.

Its near 90-degree bill angle keeps the lure working at the surface while creating a natural rolling action and pronounced wake. Unlike many wake baits that struggle in choppy conditions, the Wake Magic is designed to maintain a stable swimming action without blowing out of the water.

A rear prop-style blade produces flash, sound, and water disturbance, while internal brass and steel rattles add both high- and low-frequency sound. A tinsel-dressed rear treble provides additional flash and subtle movement to entice following fish.

For improved casting performance, Evergreen equips the Wake Magic with a dual-weight magnetic transfer system, increasing casting distance and accuracy while maintaining stability during the retrieve. It can be steadily retrieved to create a surface wake, paused around cover, or allowed to sit motionless on the surface to trigger strikes.
