V & M - Lil Hammer

The V&M Lil Hammer is a compact, heavy-bodied line-through tail spinner designed to imitate small shad and trigger bass feeding on baitfish. Developed with Bassmaster Elite Series angler Darold Gleason, its small profile combined with substantial weight provides excellent casting distance and allows anglers to quickly reach suspended or deep-water fish.

The Lil Hammer features an oversized tail blade that creates strong vibration, flash, and thump during the retrieve and on the fall. Its line-through construction allows the lure body to slide away from the fish after the hookset, reducing the leverage fish can use to throw the bait. This design makes it especially effective for schooling bass, suspended fish, deep points, drains, and other offshore structure.

Finished with realistic shad-inspired paint schemes and a Mustad treble hook, the Lil Hammer delivers a compact presentation capable of reaching fish at considerable depths while still matching smaller forage. V&M offers it in 3/4 oz and 1 oz sizes and the colors Glimmer Shad, Silver Fox, and Sexy Shad.
