Shimano - Swagy Strong Spinnerbait

The Shimano Swagy Strong Spinnerbait is built for anglers who want the vibration of a responsive spinnerbait combined with the strength needed for long casts, deeper water and hard-fighting bass. Shimano uses an innovative tapered-wire construction to balance durability, hookup performance and blade vibration.

The lower arm uses a thicker 1.0mm wire, which increases strength and helps reduce flex during the hookset. The upper arm tapers to a thinner 0.9mm wire, allowing vibration from the blades to transfer efficiently through the bait. This design makes the Swagy Strong particularly effective when fishing deeper water or making long casts where solid hook penetration becomes especially important.

Specially designed blades feature a front-cup shape that helps them start quickly and produce strong vibration. The Swagy Strong can be slow-rolled around cover or burned at higher speeds while maintaining a stable presentation.

Shimano offers two blade configurations. The DW (Double Willow) configuration provides a streamlined profile with plenty of flash and works especially well for faster retrieves. The TW (Tandem Willow/Colorado) combines a willow blade with a Colorado blade to produce additional vibration and lift.
