Shimano BT Spin Tail Spinner

The Shimano BT Spin Tail Spinner is a compact, versatile sinking lure designed to cover the entire water column while combining aggressive body action with the flash and vibration of a rotating tail blade. Its small baitfish profile makes it especially effective when bass are feeding on shad and other small forage.

Unlike traditional tail spinners that rely primarily on blade rotation, the BT Spin is engineered so the body produces a pronounced wobbling action while the lightweight blade generates vibration and flash. The specialized blade also responds quickly on the fall, giving the lure additional attraction during lift-and-fall presentations.

The BT Spin can be cast and retrieved horizontally through schooling or suspended fish, burned as a search bait, or worked vertically with a lift-and-fall presentation. Its compact, sinking design allows anglers to count the lure down and target fish from shallow water all the way to the bottom.

A specially shaped underside allows the lure to rest in a head-down position on the bottom, imitating a frightened or feeding baitfish. As soon as the retrieve begins, the BT Spin quickly lifts from the bottom and returns to its wobbling, vibrating action.

Shimano's SCALE BOOST technology uses composite-pitch holograms to create complex reflections that mimic natural baitfish scales, adding another level of realism to this compact presentation.
