Hag's Baits Prickly Pear

The Hag's Baits Prickly Pear is a unique urchin-style bass bait designed to give pressured fish a presentation they don't see every day. Made from floating TPE plastic, the Prickly Pear combines exceptional durability and buoyancy with dozens of thin, flexible tentacles that quiver and move with even the slightest movement of the bait.

Because the TPE material floats, the Prickly Pear can stand up and remain active when presented along the bottom. Its flexible tentacles continue to move during pauses, creating a subtle presentation that can coax bites from bass that have become conditioned to traditional worms, craws and other soft plastics.

The Prickly Pear is also extremely versatile. It can be flipped, dragged, rigged on a jighead or Ned rig, and retailers also recommend presentations such as a free rig and drop shot.
