The Missile Baits The 48 is a 4.8-inch stick worm designed to give anglers more action and rigging versatility than a traditional straight-bodied stick bait. Its unique profile features thicker ends connected by a narrower center section, allowing the bait to flex, shimmy and move naturally as it falls through the water column.
Made from a dense, salt-infused soft plastic, The 48 provides a controlled fall while offering increased durability. When allowed to fall horizontally, the bait produces a subtle shimmy that makes it especially effective for wacky rigs, Neko rigs and weightless presentations.
One of The 48's standout presentations is a backward-gliding Texas rig. Rig the hook through the smaller end and insert a small nail weight into the larger end—the bait will glide backward while producing its signature shimmy. This presentation can be especially useful for getting a bait underneath docks, overhanging cover and other hard-to-reach areas.
The 48 can also be cut in half, creating two compact finesse baits that work well on small jig heads for Ned-rig-style presentations. That versatility allows one bait to cover everything from traditional Texas and wacky rigs to Neko and finesse applications.

Rigging Options
Weightless Texas Rig: Excellent around shallow cover and vegetation.
Wacky Rig: Takes advantage of the narrow center section to generate plenty of movement from both ends.
Neko Rig: Add a nail weight to one end for a vertical finesse presentation.
Backward-Glide Rig: Hook the smaller end and place a small nail weight in the larger end to create a backward-falling action. Missile Baits specifically described using a 1/32 oz nail weight for this technique.
Ned Rig: Cut The 48 in half and rig either section on a small jig head for a compact finesse presentation.
