The Gamakatsu Assist 510 Hook is a premium assist hook designed for vertical jigging applications where strength, dependable hookups, and protection of your leader are essential. Its proven design combines a forged hook with a super-strong braided loop for quick and secure attachment to virtually any jig.

The Assist 510 features a curved hook point with a unique outbarb engineered so that if the hook catches the leader while jigging, the barb is less likely to nick or damage the line. The curved point provides fast penetration and secure holding power when fish strike a vertical jig.

A strong braided-line assist loop makes attachment simple—loop it through the jig eye or ring to create a flexible hook connection. The flexible assist configuration also allows the hook to move independently of the jig during the fight. The hooks feature a Tin finish suitable for saltwater jigging applications.
