The Freedom Tackle Mischief Minnow is a unique topwater bait that combines rolling action, wake vibration, flash, and sound to create the appearance of a struggling baitfish on the surface. Its standout feature is Freedom Tackle's custom-shaped Kilter blade, mounted beneath the center of the lure on an angled blade pin. As the bait moves, the blade produces intermittent flash and a distinctive clacking sound as it contacts the lure.

The Mischief Minnow is extremely easy to fish with a steady retrieve, producing a side-to-side rolling and hunting action while leaving a subtle wake. Anglers can also twitch, pause, or rip the bait to change its cadence and trigger reaction strikes. At rest, its highly buoyant body sits in a nose-up position, allowing it to spring back into action with even a slight twitch.
