The Evergreen Modo Jack Hammer TG ChatterBait takes the proven Jack Hammer design and equips it with a resin-tungsten head for anglers who demand premium performance from a bladed jig. Co-developed by Morizo Shimizu and Brett Hite, the TG model retains the hard-hitting vibration, quick startup, stable tracking, and erratic reaction-triggering action that made the original Jack Hammer famous.
Its low-center-of-gravity, flat-bottom head is designed for stability while still reacting aggressively to changes in retrieve speed and contact with cover. The flat profile also makes the Jack Hammer TG easy to skip beneath docks and overhanging cover. When the lure deflects or darts off course, the balanced head helps it quickly recover and resume its swimming action.
A precisely engineered 0.4mm stainless-steel blade provides rapid startup, strong water displacement, and the signature blade-to-head contact that generates vibration and sound. The Jack Hammer TG performs effectively at both slow and fast retrieve speeds while maintaining relatively light retrieve resistance despite its strong vibration.
The bait is finished with a heavy-wire hook for handling big bass around cover and a dual-wire trailer keeper that securely holds larger soft-plastic trailers. The resin-tungsten head is also FECO Eco Tackle certified.
