D Style - Virola

The DSTYLE Virola is a realistic soft-plastic baitfish built for finesse presentations where natural movement can make the difference between a follow and a strike. Its slender minnow profile and distinctive V-shaped tail create subtle movement with very little input, making the Virola an excellent choice when bass are feeding on small baitfish or becoming difficult to fool.

The carefully balanced body is designed to produce a natural rolling action as the bait moves through the water. Small twitches, shakes, and changes in retrieve speed bring the Virola to life without creating an exaggerated action that can turn pressured fish away.

The Virola really shines when used for mid-strolling and other suspended-bass techniques. Rig it on a jig head and work it through the water column with light rod movement to create a controlled swimming and rolling presentation. It can also be used for I-motion retrieves, soft jerking, dead-fish-style presentations, and other finesse techniques.

Its realistic profile makes it a strong choice anywhere bass are feeding on shad, minnows, or other slender forage. Fish it around suspended fish, points, bluff walls, docks, open water, or over deeper structure. It is also well suited for targeting individual bass located with forward-facing sonar.
