Bassmooch Z Dog

The BassMooch Z Dog is a walking-style topwater bait designed to make the classic walk-the-dog presentation easy and effective. Its custom flat-bottom profile and slightly concave mouth allow the bait to glide and sashay from side to side while displacing water and creating surface commotion that can trigger explosive strikes.

Inside, a precisely weighted rattle system produces a distinctive knocking sound while also helping the Z Dog cast long distances. This combination of sound, surface movement, and casting performance makes it an excellent choice for covering flats, points, schooling fish, and other areas where bass are feeding near the surface. The Z Dog has also been used successfully in tournament competition for topwater smallmouth.

Finished with sharp treble hooks and premium split rings, the Z Dog comes ready to fish straight from the package. It measures 4 inches long, weighs 1/2 oz., and is a floating topwater bait.
