The Shimano Zodias B Spinning Rod is a premium bass rod designed to deliver exceptional sensitivity, lightweight handling and technique-specific performance. The redesigned Zodias B series combines Shimano's proven Hi-Power X blank construction, Carbon Monocoque Grip and CI4+ reel seat to create a highly responsive platform for modern finesse bass fishing.
Shimano's Hi-Power X construction uses diagonally wrapped carbon tape around the blank to increase rigidity and resist twisting. This provides crisp rod control, improved casting accuracy and a more efficient transfer of power during hooksets and when fighting fish.
The hollow Carbon Monocoque Grip is designed to efficiently transfer vibrations through the rod and into the angler's hand, helping reveal subtle bottom changes, lure movement and light bites. A lightweight CI4+ reel seat further increases sensitivity while providing a rigid and secure connection between the rod and spinning reel.
Premium Fuji Alconite guides provide smooth line flow and dependable performance with both braided and traditional fishing lines. With models covering everything from light finesse presentations to more powerful spinning applications, the Zodias B lineup is well suited for drop shots, Ned rigs, Neko rigs, shaky heads, finesse swimbaits, strolling, jerkbaits and forward-facing sonar techniques.
