The Shimano Zodias B Casting Rod is the newly revamped generation of the popular Zodias series, designed to deliver lightweight sensitivity, precise casting and technique-specific performance for serious bass anglers. The expanded lineup covers everything from BFS and reaction baits to bottom-contact techniques, power fishing and swimbaits.
At the heart of the Zodias B is Shimano's Hi-Power X blank construction. Diagonally wrapped carbon tape reinforces the blank to increase rigidity and resist unwanted twisting, resulting in crisp rod control, more accurate casts and better control under load.
The Carbon Monocoque Grip uses a hollow carbon construction to efficiently transfer vibrations through the rod and into the angler's hand. Combined with Shimano's lightweight and rigid CI4+ reel seat, the Zodias B provides excellent sensitivity for detecting bottom composition, lure movement and subtle bites.
Premium Fuji Alconite guides, an updated hook keeper and technique-specific handle configurations complete the package. Depending on the model, Zodias B Casting Rods are excellent choices for Texas rigs, jigs, crankbaits, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, topwaters, frogs, flipping, pitching, BFS presentations and larger swimbaits.
