Megabass - 5" Sling Shad Soft Jerkbait

The Megabass 5" Sling Shad is a highly refined soft jerkbait designed for pressured bass, clear water and finesse presentations. Its unique dual-density, two-layer construction provides excellent swimming balance and helps the bait maintain a natural horizontal posture whether it's falling, swimming or being worked with subtle rod movements.

A flat-sided minnow profile enhances the bait's rolling action, while the responsive rear section and delicate forked tail produce subtle vibration with even minimal water movement. Twitch or jerk the Sling Shad and it darts from side to side like an injured baitfish, making it especially effective when bass are reluctant to chase.

The belly incorporates a higher-density material that creates a lower center of gravity, helping the Sling Shad swim and fall properly even when rigged weightless on an offset hook. The same design produces continuous rolling and flashing action when used for mid-strolling and hover-strolling techniques.

Precision body slits make rigging easier and allow the soft body to collapse during a strike for improved hook penetration. The Sling Shad is also enhanced with Megabass FLAVOR-X shrimp attractant to encourage fish to hold onto the bait.
