The Lew’s Speed Spool LFS Casting Reel is a versatile low-profile baitcaster built to deliver smooth casting, dependable gearing, and solid durability for everyday bass fishing. Its compact LFS (Lighter, Faster, Stronger) platform uses a one-piece aluminum frame with a removable graphite palming sideplate for strength without unnecessary bulk.
Inside, high-strength solid brass Speed Gears® are precision cut on Hamai CNC machines, while the P2 Super Pinion® bearing-supported pinion gear maintains precise gear alignment for smoother operation and improved gear life. The reel also uses an externally adjustable Magnetic Control System (MCS), allowing anglers to quickly fine-tune casting control for different lure weights and wind conditions.
