Jewel Freak-O Rig Urchin Weight - 5pk

The Jewel Baits Freak-O Rig Urchin Weight is a specialized weighting and bait-retention system designed specifically for today's popular urchin-style soft plastics. Instead of simply inserting a traditional nail weight, the Freak-O Rig helps weight the bait while also securing it to the hook, reducing unwanted movement and helping prevent expensive urchin baits from being thrown off during a cast or fight.

The Freak-O features a barbed shaft that inserts into the center of the soft plastic along with a lock-in hook slot. Once inserted, the hook point passes through the bait and the opening in the weight, creating a secure connection between the hook, weight, and soft plastic. The weighted lower section also helps orient the presentation as it falls.

Designed around 17mm urchin baits, the Freak-O Rig works with virtually any hook style, including treble hooks. It's available in 3/32 oz, 1/8 oz, and 3/16 oz, allowing anglers to adjust fall rate and presentation based on depth and fishing conditions. Each package contains 5 weights, and the Freak-O Rig is Made in the USA.
