The Hideup Kyu Coike brings back the original Coike concept with its distinctive compact ball-shaped body surrounded by flexible hair-like tentacles. Hideup describes the bait’s basic presentation as simple but highly effective: the hairs create the attraction and movement, while the center ball gives the fish a target to bite.
The Kyu Coike is exceptionally versatile. Rig it on a jighead to create a compact hair-jig-style presentation, or fish it on a drop shot, weightless rig, Carolina rig, or split-shot rig. The many fine tentacles respond to subtle rod movements and water currents, making it especially effective for pressured or difficult-to-catch bass.
The current Kyu Coike comes 3 baits per package. Hideup also advises keeping it separate from conventional soft-plastic worms because contact between the materials may cause the baits to melt or deform.
