Gamakatsu - Ball Rig Hook

Gamakatsu Ball Rig Hook – TGW – Nano Alpha

The Gamakatsu Ball Rig Hook – TGW – Nano Alpha is purpose-built for rigging urchin-style, fuzzy, and bulky finesse soft plastics. Its specialized design gives anglers an easy way to add adjustable weight to these unconventional baits while maintaining the freedom to fine-tune fall rate and presentation throughout the day.

A wide gap provides the clearance needed for thicker soft plastics, helping the hook move cleanly through the bait during a strike. The integrated Weight Clip allows compatible drop-shot and Gika-style weights to be attached directly to the hook. Change to a lighter or heavier weight to adjust depth, fall speed, and bait behavior without cutting your line and rebuilding the entire rig.

Gamakatsu constructs the Ball Rig Hook from Tournament Grade Wire (TGW) for a combination of strength, sharpness, and a refined wire diameter. The hook is finished with Nano Alpha technology, creating an exceptionally smooth surface for easier penetration while providing increased resistance to corrosion. Gamakatsu states that Nano Alpha offers twice the penetration performance and four times the corrosion resistance compared with its standard plated hooks. Gamakatsu USA Fishing Hooks
