The Freedom Tackle Football Jig is built for dragging and crawling across gravel, chunk rock, ledges, points, and other hard-bottom structure where big bass feed. Its wide football-style head creates a wobbling action as it moves across the bottom while helping the jig work through rocky terrain with fewer hang-ups.
A 60-degree horizontal flat-eye line tie is positioned in the wide head to enhance the jig's movement and bottom-oriented presentation. Freedom equips the jig with a premium Mustad 5/0 UltraPoint hook, providing the strength and penetration needed when a quality fish loads up on the bait.
The Football Jig is finished with a custom-designed 50-strand silicone skirt that adds movement and bulk to the presentation. Add your favorite craw, creature bait, or other soft-plastic trailer and drag it slowly across offshore structure for an effective crawfish-style presentation. The series is offered in 3/8 oz, 1/2 oz, and 3/4 oz sizes.
