Beast Coast - Tungsten Compound Baby Dozer Jig

The Beast Coast Tungsten Compound Baby ’Dozer Football Jig is a compact bottom-contact jig developed for targeting largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass. Designed with mixed-bag fisheries in mind, its smaller profile is particularly effective when bass are pressured or feeding on smaller crawfish and forage.

The Baby ’Dozer is molded from a lead-free tungsten compound, providing a compact, hard head with excellent bottom feedback. Friction bumps on the face of the head, combined with a hook eye positioned slightly behind the midpoint, help the trailer deflect and “tick” along the bottom while dragging. This makes it especially effective around rock, gravel, points, ledges, and other hard-bottom structure.

A hand-tied short-cut skirt keeps the overall presentation compact, while a small weedguard provides protection around sparse cover. The ribbed and barbed trailer keeper securely holds craws, chunks, and other soft plastics. Standard configurations use BKK hooks, with hook size varying by jig weight.
