What began as a simple dream in 1959 has evolved into one of the fishing tackle industry's most influential organizations. Based in Minnetonka, Minnesota, with companies in 12 countries and distribution in more than 130 countries, the Rapala-Normark Group is the world's largest fishing lure company, as well as one of the world's largest premium fishing tackle distributors.
Fishing tackle companies have come and some have all but disappeared since 1959, but the Rapala-Normark Group endures.
