Company Information
The Pflueger name has been a part of the fishing industry since 1881, when Ernest F. Pflueger founded a fish hook company called the Enterprise Manufacturing Company. Ernest A. Pflueger left the family business and founded the E. A. Pflueger Company which manufactured fishing tackle. In 1916 the first Pflueger baitcast reel was manufactured in Akron, Ohio, and became a benchmark in the reel industry. The Pflueger spinning reel was introduced in 1954. Over the years, Pflueger remained one of the leading fly fishing tackle manufacturers, but ended production of spinning and baitcasting rods and reels.

But times have changed, and with the new millennium upon us, Pflueger is once again introducing spinning and baitcasting fishing tackle. These new rods and reels carry the quality that is associated with the Pflueger name. Dependability and innovation are the foundations of this new line of fishing tackle. We have brought the attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship back and combined it with new technology to create a product line that we are proud to introduce to you. Warranty
Your new Pflueger product comes with a limited warranty for a period of one year against defects in material and/or workmanship. Trion rods have a FIVE year warranty against breakage while fishing. Pflueger will have no other obligation and will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages.

Pflueger makes no implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS for any period beyond the duration of each limited warranty. This warranty does not cover damage caused by addition to or alteration of the product, accident, abuse or normal wear. Damage that is determined to be of this nature will be repaired at consumer's expense. This warranty does not extend to products which are put to commercial or rental use.

Some state laws do not allow exclusion of incidental or consequential damages or limitation of the duration of implied warranties, so the above exclusion and limitation might not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights which vary from state to state.

Instructions for Warranty Service

Send rods, freight prepaid and insured, to the Pflueger Service Center, along with a note stating how the item was broken or damaged (include name and complete address), proof of date of purchase and $6.50 for return postage and handling.

Send reels, freight prepaid and insured, to either the Pflueger Service Center or the nearest Pflueger Reel Warranty Center, along with a letter of explanation (include name and complete address), proof of date of purchase and $6.50 for return postage and handling.

Pflueger will repair or replace the product at its option and return directly to the purchaser. Pflueger is not obligated to supply parts for any product which has not appeared in the Pflueger catalog within the last five years.

Pflueger Rods and Reels which are not covered by warranty may be repaired at a nominal charge plus shipping and handling.
