Shimano Cardiff Series Baitcasting Reels

DESCRIPTION

The Cardiff is the essence of what a round reel should be: strong, responsive, and easy to use. The Cardiff is built with a die-cast aluminum frame and a machined aluminum spool for strength. Deep anodized stamped side plates help inhibit corrosion in a saltwater environment.

The reel's responsiveness lies in Shimano's Super Stopper® as well as a high 5.8:1 gear ratio perfectly suited to fish lures such as worms or jigs which require a high-speed retrieve.

Control over backlashes and free spool is complete thanks to Shimano's Variable Brake System (VBS). VBS® is easily accessible on the right side-plate, allowing you to adjust your brake weights quickly without removing the spool.

Therefore, for an easy-to-use and palm- sized round reel, look no further than the Cardiff .
