The best thing to do to ctch permit is toss a fish, or 100x better a meduim sized fiidler or snad crab into a scholl. Then wait you will imediatly have a nibble or better a good sized bite.

how to catch permit

Dig in the sand and find a sand crab, as big as golf ball. Using a spinning rod, put the crab on a hook and cast to a sighted permit. 80% hook-up results.
