Vic Carrao has worked in many aspects of the fishing industry over the past 16 years. Retail sales, trade show representative, Instructing in Fly tying, Fly casting and Float fishing for Salmon & Steelhead. Vic has been o GIBBS NORTAC PRO STAFF for the past 3 years and does product reviews and writes monthly articles for REEL ANGLER MAGAZINE. Vic also conducts in store Steelhead and Flycasting clinics for Hub Sports and has been invited to speak at trade shows as a key speaker and speaks at fishing club meetings.

Vic is also involved in volunteer work in the community. In the past Vic has worked with the Fraser Valley Salmon Society as a Director and has volunteered his knowledge of Sturgeon to the Fraser River Sturgeon Society. Vic has been tagging Sturgeon on the Fraser to help with the task of collecting data so that we may understand the Sturgeon much better. Vic has also worked as a volunteer with the Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks in the Telemetry study of Steelhead on the Vedder river.

Vic is the owner of STS Guiding Service which is now in it's ninth year of operation. Vic spends most of his time on the water guiding over 220 days a year. When Vic is not on the water you will find him on the soccer field, swimming lessons, dance lessons, water skiing or on the ski hill with his wife and 2 daughters. There is no one in the valley who spends as much time on the water as Vic and his team of Professional guides.
