This beauty was 53” long with a 26.5 girth (approximate weight 46.5 lbs). It was caught October 3, 2004 on the St. Lawrence River. It was partly cloudy with a Northeast wind, in waves 1-2 feet high. We were trolling in 45-50 feet of water, on Rich Clarke’s Signman charter and hooked into it at 11:00 am. Bait was a 6” perch colored Swimwhiz.
