This lake is my "home lake". I have caught largemouth bass, channel cat, carp, crappie, bluegill, and green sunfish. I have seen blue cats and saugeye caught. The last few times I have went I have caught over 50 fish (no lie, no stretching the truth). I use corn to catch carp and usually bag about 10 channel cats using that. also catch bluegill using corn. I usually catch anywhere from 20-30 carp an outing. I use a texas rigged worm for bass. live minnows for crappie. I have caught green sunfish, carp, channel cats, and bluegill on nightcrawlers. seen people catch saugeye on crankbaits...but see people lose alot or lures that way too. Heard cut shad is good for saugeye. I fish the banks, but many people enjoy the fishing pier or the dam.
