After my grandfather returned from WW II, he and my grandmother took off one month a year and drove to this pristine area in an old school bus, following a dirt path. They loved it here, and in 1956 they purchased the land on Eva Lake. After flying thousands of hours in a bush plane my grandfather experienced it all. I was lucky enough to be with him on many of those unforgettable trips. You will discover that great spirit of the explorer within yourself at Eva Lake, Ontario Canada.

After a full day of great fellowship and fishing you'll be ready for our Canadian cook's delicious and varied menus. How about corn fed beef, Iowa chops, or Cornish game hens? Anybody ready for fresh blueberry pancakes.
You will fish Eva, "over 300 feet deep and crystal clear", for smallmouth, northern and lake trout. Add walleye to the list when you travel to nearly twenty lakes accessible by driving scenic old trails and portages. Daily fly-outs are available to any lakes accessible by pontoon plane. Our local guides are recommended, but some lakes are navigable without them. We'll give you a map and turn you loose.
After a day at Eva Lake Resort, what better way to wind down then with our awesome cedar hot tub. Perfect for relaxing alone, or with a group of friends.
Daily Fly-outs
We will fly you out in the morning on a spectacular air tour en route to your private hideaway for the day and pick you up in the late afternoon. Many people enjoy the freedom of having quality fishing and aerial viewing by day and returning to the amenities of the main lodge at night.
Catch 'n' Eat, or Release Fishing
Our emphasis has been and will continue to be catch 'n eat, or release fishing. You can eat all the smaller fish you want and release the rest. This "best tasting" plan is to ensure the quality of fishing remains excellent. The quality of fishing and service we provide for you and future generations will remain unbeatable.
