Lake Tarpon is rated by the state of Florida Fish and Game Commission as the number one lake for Trophy Bass.
The state record is held by Lake Tarpon with a 19.0 pound Bass.
Our guests enjoy the abundant wild life, secluded surroundings and access to the lodge’s 20’ Pontoon boat to explore the 8-mile long lake.
The accommodations are a “Bed & Breakfast” style set up with a warm and cozy feeling.
Nestled in the small, quaint town of Tarpon Springs, away from the crowds, this unique setting is close enough for the non-angling spouse to enjoy a wide range of activities. The main street is lined with small antique shops filled with unique treasures.
The sponge docks are reminiscent of an old Greek Village with small shops and restaurants featuring authentic Greek cuisine. If shopping, nightlife and beautiful beaches are on your agenda, then this is the place.
Tampa’s Ybor City, Busch Gardens, Florida Aquarium, Clearwater Beach and downtown St. Petersburg are within a half hour ride. Disney world is only 1.5 hour ride from the lodge.
