"I have been going to Lake Erie for 12yrs. I have chartered with some real doosies. Found Hawg Alert Charters,and wouldn't consider anyone else. We have been fishing with Capt. Doug for about 7 yrs. He has always been very accommodating and very professional."

"My husband and friends like to fish. I don't dislike it but would rather ride a bike. So they go fishing and I take the ferry to Put-In-Bay, rent a bike and tour the island. Last year I went Perch fishing with them and we had a ball. I out fished my husband thanks to Capt. Doug."

"When I started with Hawg Alert Charters and Capt. Doug my sons were 4 and 7. I took the 7 year old on my first trip. The Capt. set me up and showed me how to catch fish. Then he turned me loose and took my son in hand. He had my son casting and catching fish in short order. Two years later I took both sons as the youngest was almost 7. He again took the youngest under his wing, and now both the boys out fish the Dad. Last year took the wife, she loves it. It has become our annual family fishing trip.Thanks to Capt. Doug."

Doug, I spoke to a lot of Captains before I booked this trip with you. You seemed the most compitent and knowledgeable. Being a business person, I can appreciate like how you handle your business as far as the marketing and the professionalism. Zero complaints from anyone, Doug. I would never use anyone else. Despite it being cold as hell, and the fish not biting, I still felt we got our money's worth and you made the very best of what we had to work with that day.
